As the Earth’s climate warms, the ice at the poles continues to thaw. In 2040, we may see summer seasons with no ice at the North Pole.
The disappearance of glaciers can have deadly consequences for the creatures that live, breed and hunt at the poles. This is a serious problem for all people. Because rising sea levels will cause problems in coastal cities and melting glaciers will upset the food chain in all oceans.
In our project, we will draw attention to climate change and the change in the poles with our students.
